Formed in 2006 as an answer to a question we posed during one of our surf sessions. How can we give money back to our favorite charities while selling the product from our online store? Through weeks of brain storming Salt Nation was born. Having been involved with Surfrider Foundation, Surf Aid International and Life rolls On already we really wanted to help these non-profits raise more money to continue in the good work they do all year long. The solution was really pretty easy, give back a percentage of all sales from any products we sell. Then we took this idea one step further by allowing you, the user, to choose what charity to support with your purchase. You may ask "do you just mark up the product more to cover that donation cost"? Not at all. Most of our products are priced lower than suggested retail or at suggested retail.
